Original Painting Information

Black Panther is an acrylic painting on an 18×24 stretched canvas. It’s inspiration simply came from the tiger painting before it. I wanted to do another big cat and the panther is a cool one.

For those of you who don’t know, a panther is a black leopard or jaguar. I thought panthers were completely black but I was wrong! Looking closely at this painting you will see slight brown colors throughout the fur.

SHIPPING

Please allow 3-5 business days for the painting to be shipped. You will receive the tracking number so that you can track the shipment of your painting with ease.

Upon shipping, the painting will be taken off the wooden support frame and mailed in a cylinder to be reassembled by you. I label the frame to make for easy reassembly. Or you can have it framed yourself.

This painting will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity that ensures that this is an original acrylic painting done by Brian Sloan. See photo above for example.

This painting is based on a photo of whom I could not find proper credit. If you know who took this photo, let me know!

WHY CHOOSE GICLÉE:

Giclée prints have a superior printing quality to lithographs. They have greater color matching, better contrast, use archival grade ink and media, and greater resolution. Apart from the texture paint provides on the top of a canvas, giclée prints are pretty well indistinguishable from original paintings.

*In the drop-down menu, you will only see “Fine Art Paper” as the options for the paper when you check out there is an “Additional Notes” section in which you can write whether you would like smooth or textured finish to the paper. If no note is given a smooth finish will be the default.

 

FRAMING TIPS:

Fine Art Paper and Rolled Canvas Prints are good for regular frames.

Stretched Canvas Prints are good to be hung by themselves, in float frames, or in a regular frame for a more modern style.

 

PROCESSING TIME:

-Please allow for 1-2 weeks of time to create the print and then ship it or have it ready for pick-up
