Original Painting Info:

“Buffalo” is an acrylic painting on a 16×20 canvas. It came about because I was thinking of animals I have never painted before and this was one of them! Growing up and living on the prairies of Canada, the buffalo used to roam free here in herds of over a million. Now, that isn’t quite the case. They are massive animals with so much power behind them. The reference photo for this painting is from Pixabay.

This painting can be bought framed or unframed. In the pictures above you will see it in a brown frame but black frames are also available upon request. If you select the framed option you must message me telling me what color of frame you would like (the default will be the brown one here unless otherwise specified!).

SHIPPING

The unframed painting will be taken off the wooden support frames and shipped in a tube to be reassembled or framed upon arrival. It will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity to assure you that it is an original painting.

The framed version will be take off the wooden support frame to be placed in the frame. It will be shipped in a box and be ready to hang upon arrival.

It will be shipped via Canada Post and you will receive a tracking code so you can track its progress.

FINE ART GICLÉE PRINT INFO

Below you will find 4 different options for Giclée Printing:

WHY CHOOSE GICLÉE:

Giclée prints have a superior printing quality to lithographs. They have greater color matching, better contrast, use archival grade ink and media, and greater resolution. Apart from the texture paint provides on the top of a canvas, giclée prints are pretty well indistinguishable from original paintings.

*In the drop-down menu, you will only see “Fine Art Paper” as the options for the paper when you check out there is an “Additional Notes” section in which you can write whether you would like smooth or textured finish to the paper. If no note is given a smooth finish will be the default.

 

FRAMING TIPS:

Fine Art Paper and Rolled Canvas Prints are good for regular frames.

Stretched Canvas Prints are good to be hung by themselves, in float frames, or in a regular frame for a more modern style.

 

PROCESSING TIME:

-Please allow for 1-2 weeks of time to create the print and then ship it or have it ready for pick-up
